DESCRIPTION:Every first Saturday of December\, Old Town comes alive with Christmas joy! Hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce and the city\, holiday activities include the Old Town Rudolph Run\, Christmas Marketplace\, Hometown Parade\, pictures with Santa\, live performances\, and local food and craft vendors. \n\n\n\nImportant Notes: \n\n\n\n\nWe will be prepping the Believe bells from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM before the parade starts.\n\n\n\nThis is not a drop-off event – please ensure that your troop is accompanied by correct number of safety wise adults. \n\n\n\nCall or text Jenni Austin at 512-947-1719 when you arrive\, and she’ll direct you to the right spot!\n\n\n\nDeadline to sign up is December 5th – please RSVP to help us get a good headcount for the parade.\n\n\n\nIf you’re running a bit late\, don’t worry! DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of self defense in this two-hour beginner class\, exclusively for Crystal Falls Service Unit Girl Scouts! This class is open to all levels of Girl Scouts\, daisies to adults! \n\n\n\nYour Sabomnim (Head Instructor) and Dojang Owner is Mrs. Wendy Justis. She is a 3rd Degree Black Belt and Certified Instructor. She is a mom of four who loves to teach\, motivate and inspire. She has a passion for TaeKwonDo and strongly believes in helping everyone find their own voice and self-confidence. \n\n\n\nNote: This is not a drop off event. You will need to ensure safety-wise numbers if you attend as a troop! SUMMARY:2024 Fall Campout & Investiture
DESCRIPTION:The CFSU troops come together to enjoy a weekend of fun and fellowship! Most of the weekend is planned by the individual Troops\, however\, the Investiture & Rededication Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday\, October 26. \n\n\n\nInvestiture is a ceremony that happens once per year to welcome new girls into the organization. The traditional audience is anyone who has not yet learned the Girl Scout Law & Promise\, whether they are 1st-year Daisies or new to Scouting.  \n\n\n\nIn addition to Investiture\, this ceremony will include a Rededication for all returning scouts as a way for the Girls to recommit to the Girl Scout Promise & Law for another year.  \n\n\n\nIn both instances\, this ceremony is very important to the girls and family support is encouraged – Parents and siblings are welcome to attend the ceremony!
