CFSU Investiture & Rededication Ceremony
October 4, 2025 @ 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm
Please mark your calendars for our Investiture & Rededication Ceremony. It will be held Saturday, October 4th at Camacho Elementary Cafeteria (501 Municipal Dr., Leander, TX). Doors open at 3:20pm but we are asking all troops to be on site by 3:15pm. Ceremony begins at 3:30pm.
What is Investiture/Rededication? Investiture is an official Girl Scout Ceremony where we welcome all new members to Girl Scouts and existing members reaffirm their commitment to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
Is there a dress code? Yes. Since this is an official Girl Scout Ceremony, all Girl Scouts and Troop Leaders are expected to wear their official Girl Scout Uniform. The official uniform for Girl Scouts consists of a white top with khaki bottoms, along with their vest, tunic, or sash. If a Girl Scout does not have her vest/tunic/sash yet, wearing her insignia tab alone is acceptable. Leaders are to dress neatly and wear their insignia tab (or Leader’s Vest if they have one).
The event is free to all and we will be handing out a fun patch to each Girl Scout who registers. Please note, the deadline to register is September 25th.
